How much more

Nobody can love us like our Dad Jesus....He has loved us to the extent of giving His life for us...Sometimes when sin gets hold of me,I think that God surely hates me right now....but no,he answered me with this verse,I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.Isaiah 41:9.And in some temptation,when I think that I am so very alone,he answered me with this verse,Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.isaiah 41:10..And when I came to US,I was scared to go far away from home and God told me,Deut 31:8 - Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD is the one who goes before you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor forsake you."When I am sick,he heals me...When I am tired my daddy gives me strength...He hides me in the shelter of his tabernacle...Surely there is none like my precious Lord!!!

How much more could u love me God!

Wherever I go,

Whenever I am impatient and crying,

You hold me close!

When I say I can't go any further,

When I don't see anything ahead,

I don't know how to live without you God,

I don't have a clue!

So I thank thee God,

For never giving up on me,

You chose to be my father,

To lead me and guide me through,

Only you can do what you are doing God!

Only you can do...

So patient with an impatient me,

I will learn to trust you!

My Baby Testimony

Praise the Lord.I am here to tell you How true and faithful God is.How awesome He is.God has been my dad literally all my life..My wordly father passed away a few years ago..God was leading us wonderfully b4 that but From that moment on...He took our family into His hands in a very special way and has lead us mightily.I can go on talking about God's faithfulness towards us.I would like to say one thing in particular now.When we started planning for a baby..God said that He is wonderful in counsel and mighty in deeds...God has always been in control..So I know He is in complete control in this too.In the starting of 2006,I got a promise verse.

Isaiah 40:31
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

So I knew that God is asking me to wait .But with every passing month,I grew more weary.God upheld me with His righteous right hand and gave me promises...lots and lots of promises and made me go on...

One of the few promises were,

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare [1] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.Jeremiah 29:11

For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay. Habbakuk 2:3

"Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice,
for the Lord has done great things!
Joel 2:21

And many more promises like these...I held on to these promises.

One day...I asked the Lord...God how good it will be if i can talk to you thru phone?..So i can ask you whats going on...

I had a dream that night.

My cell phone rang and the display read "God"..

My family said, come on pick it up pick it up...

I picked up the phone and I could hear the sound of space...I said hello

And I heard the most majestic and a loving...beautiful voice I've ever heard in my life

God said...

"varthayinal mathiram alla..seyalinalum unnaku seiven"

which means I will do to you what I have promised..

After that I became very confident in the Lord..God was teaching me how to trust in Him...How to wait in Him and How to be patient..

In the women's bible study..we were in the colossians when I had this dream...

So when we learnt how soverign God is...

According to the verse,

col 16 For by [6] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him

So I was meditating on His sovereignty...He who created all things has got plans for me...He who calls the stars by name has plans for me....and so on..

But when dec 2006 came...I said,God this is the month dec 2006...this year you are fulfilling all your promises...and I was thinking...Its said in the bible..that Jesus does not know when He is coming...coz if he does he wud tell us all out of pity...So I was asking God..God,but you know when ur promises are going to fulfilled..let me know plz...that same evening my aunt from India called me...

She said...pappu(thats how they call me at home) its not december 2006...I was shocked...How in the world does she know what I am asking God?

She said that Jesus came in her dream and said...I'm going to bless her in this year...but not dec 2006...before this academic year which is March 31 2006...

I got this message just a few days b4 our christmas function...and on the day of the function...my promise verse was...

Thevan arulina solimudiyatha ivukkaka thothiram...Praise God for His wonderful gift..2 Cor 9:15

Actually I stopped praying after that and started praising and thanking him..Coz I believed God has already answered my prayers...

I told all my friends..They were surprised how can somebody know that before 3 months...I knew god will not fail..and when these promises comes true...they will see and know how true our God is...

that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed. Joshua 23:14

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Now God has blessed us according to His promise.And yes we confirmed it before march 31st,on march 15th..when I told my friends and family they say god is awesome and that their faith is renewed hearing this..May God be all the Glory for he has done great things for us.On November 11th 2007,I gave birth to a very beautiful and healthy baby girl Katherine Abigail Ravikumar.May God's name be continually glorified through us!!

I waited patiently for the Lord;
he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.Many will see and fear,

A Meaningful Life

When we have something good,we so want to share with our loved ones.Words could not express how wonderfully my heavenly father loves me...I want all my friends and family to experience this love so amazing...this peace and security...this hope in the Almighty....So came this poem!

With the love so unconditional,

To the Creator God and King?

I was trying hard to find,

Till I find,there is no leisure,

It must be one of a kind,

The world's greatest treasure.

I set out a search,

In the pacific ocean,

It was pearls that I could reach

For which I had no passion.

So I set my eyes on the everest peak,

Precious carpet of snow everywhere,is all I could find,

This was not what I came to seek,

Something greater was on my mind.

Love,sharing and having made together lot of stories,

Must be friendship,was my notion,

But as a cargo ship of memories,

Leaving behind,we sail to another station.

So I searched the earth in and out,

I couldn't find an answer,

It made me anxious without doubt,

I couldn't even find it in a beautiful flower.

Gazing the moon and the stars twinkling in the sky,

I finally decided it must be truest love,

Which never ever passes by,

Oh ! All this time I had failed to look above!!

Yes! I have found what I was looking for,

The Only true greatest treasure,

Its The Precious Lord who has truly loved me so far,

I love Him with no measure.

He is the morning star,so bright,

He holds my hand and leads me every mile,

In His light,I will see light,

And I will do anything for His smile.

Everyday when the sun goes down..

I take a walk to the town;

I walk through the scented bed of roses,

Which is like the middle of sea in the story of moses.

There is a little girl in the garden,

She wears in her hair,beautiful satin ribbon;

We laugh and play in the garden,

Which makes me forget all my burdens.

In the town,there is a rodeo singer,

Whose voice I greatly admire;

He sings beautiful songs of comfort,

It surely does boost my spirit higher;

Then I go to the church near the river bank,

I kneel down with love to thank;

For the price with which I have been bought,

To He who rescues me without a second thought.

On my way home,I thought,

About the life I have got;

One day the roses would fade away,

The little girl may be no longer on my way.

The rodeo singer may lose his voice,

Or he may choose a living of better choice;

The mountain air may get stale,

Or the evening sky pale.

But the one love of my life,

Who willingly helps me in my strife,

Will always stay by my side,

Will always be my guide;

Anything and everything may pass,

But not the love that is revealed on the cross,

So I will live a life without any torment,

For God and His love for me is permanent!!!

Why Should I fear!!!

One night,When I was gazing into the night sky filled with stars and was wondering how fragile a man's life is...and how tiny and insignificant he is in this vast cosmos...God gave me this poem!!!

Why should I be afraid if You bless?

And worry everything is less,

My Heavenly Home

I heard a very beautiful sermon one sunday morning on the coming of the Lord.The worship was filled with rapture songs and the whole service was so wonderful that made me write this poem.Sometimes it makes wonder how much we plan for the future and worry about worldly things and forget the most ultimate promise of God that He would come again to take us to paradise..that we would all be taken into His glory in a twinkling of an eye.I really pray that God should give me more insight in His rapture for Blessed is the one who the master finds waiting and awake!!

This particular verse amazed me that day I heard the sermon...

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. " zep 3:17

My Heavenly Home

It is one Golden Morning,

For which the saints wait with longing;

That glorious day is drawing near,

When the sound of trumpets,we shall hear.

The clouds will scroll up like a sheet,

When our Loving Father,we shall finally meet;

That day we can really kiss His feet,

our hearts filled with Joy,when the Holy Angel's greet;

we will hold our Mighty Father's Hand,

When Joyous music it plays,the heavenly Band;

This day of promise we shall soon see,

And Forever in His presence we shall be;

He's Going to say,"Well done,my servant,

You have been so Faithful and Patient;

As a Glorious Bride,we shall shine,

When Atlast in our heavenly home,with our saviour,we shall dine;

There will be a royal banquet,beyond the sky,

In the Land where Joy and Music never die,

AtLast,we shall lay our burden down,

And wear a beautiful Golden Crown;

I will never take my eyes from my saviour's face,

I will unceasingly sing of His Saving Grace,

Seeing me,My Jesus is going to sing a joyful song,

For this Blessed Happy Day,My Soul will always long.

My habitation is in a very beautiful city,

Which the God Himself built with unspeakable beauty;

Walls of Jasper,Streets of Gold,

Seas clear as crystal and Fair to Behold.

Our Prince of Peace shall Forever Reign,

The most precious eternal life,we shall finally gain,

Oh!Jerusalem Fair,I long to be there,

My Lord is waiting to welcome me there,

Easter Story

One day ,during the easter time I was thinking.What would have happened if Jesus didn't come and didn't offer him as a sacrifice of sin for us....It scared me so bad just to think how much chaos would have prevailed....I am so very thankful for my Loving Lord chose otherwise and saved us all from darkness and sin...

So He came down to earth

On the christmas day,in a very humble birth

He never lived for himself,the Prince of Peace

Coz His only aim was to offer us Peace

He came to earth to die for us,He knew that well

But He accepted this terrible death to save us from the burning hell

He came to deliver from the bondage of sin,to set us free

But His own people never understood Him and slained Him on the tree

He shed every drop of His blood for us

Even then He was filled with love for us

By His Blood we are washed as white as snow

Through Him,We can enter heaven now

He victoriouly ROSE UP TODAY

Just to forever with us ,closer to stay

Because of this day,We have nothing to fear

Coz Our Living God is always near

Every day we start with new mercies and grace

And Full of strength to run this race

In our life,there is no darkness only light

My First Love

This is my first poem about God...He amazed me beyond my understanding with his wonderful love...Since I felt that His love for me is priceless,knows no bounds,unconditional..My heart overflowed with Joy and it became sweet songs of praise for Him...

He is the love of my life,

He is the one reason I'm not with strife;

He lights up my path so bright,

He is my morning star in the night;

Though I wander far from Him,

And my spiritual eyes seem to dim,

I call on His name and he rushes to my aid,my father dear

He cleanses me and stays with me near,

He holds my hand so tight,

So the evil and lust,I do not sight;

Daily in my thoughts,only you I adore,

Lord,I will never go no more;

I am sure He'll lead me till my last breath,
